Emery Griffin, Staff Writer
Emery Griffin’s biggest aspiration is to become an elementary school teacher. She loves working with children and thinks she has the required level of patience to teach long-term. She believes most teachers get jaded after a few years, but she has been working with children for four years already and still loves it. Griffin has over 40 volunteer hours at her church’s Sunday school.
Griffin’s social circle revolves primarily around her boyfriend and two other friends. It is rare that you see her without her boyfriend, Roby. Out of everyone, Roby is her closest friend.
In May 2024, Griffin joined cheerleading and it has become another part of her everyday life.
“I’m so grateful for cheer and every blessing it has brought me,” Griffin said. “I love my team and Mrs. Lucas.”
She added, “I never thought I would be a cheerleader, but after the first practice, I’ve never regretted it.”
