Three Bray-Doyle elementary students were recognized as Character Kids for October 21.
Cheyanne Ortega, Landon Jones, and Bo Gregston received their certificates for Character Kids during the morning assembly on October 21.
Ortega was recognized by her teacher, Mrs. Kaycee Booth, for responsibility.
“Cheyanne does a great job of following the rules,” Booth said. “She is also willing to help out when needed.”
Bray-Doyle Elementary Principal Keli Heinrich nominated Jones for showing respect for others.
“Landon saw Mrs. Gensamer and I talking in the hallway,” Heinrich said. “He waited politely instead of walking between the two of us.”
Anyone can nominate the students if they see them showing good character. Cafeteria worker Cathy Hightower, nominated Gregston for demonstrating good citizenship.
“Bo stayed behind and helped me clean the tables after breakfast,” Hightower said.
