If you went to a Bray-Doyle football game this past season, you saw this week’s B-D Donkey Feed male senior spotlight, Nathan Turner, barreling down the field on offense and sacking quarterbacks on the defensive side of the ball. Turner helped tear it up on the gridiron, and was also an active member on the Academic Team, track team and baseball team. “Natedawg”, sat down and answered a few of our questions.

B-D: When I was young, I imagined myself as…

Turner: When I was young I imagined myself as a millionaire.

B-D: What is an accomplishment you’re proud of?

Turner: I am proud of making so many friends.  

B-D: What extra-curricular activity do you enjoy the most and why?

Turner: I enjoyed football because it was the only sport with so much contact.

B-D: What are your plans after high school?

Turner: I plan to become a dentist.

B-D: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Turner: I see myself in 10 years being successful at my job and married.

B-D: What is your favorite junior high memory?

Turner: My favorite junior high memory is playing football.

B-D: What is a favorite high school memory?

Turner: My favorite high school memory is working with the summer squad (Mark Kilbourn, Justin Miller, Trevor Riley, and Dalton Whitehead), and  getting to know the other seniors of 2019. 

B-D: What will you miss the most after you graduate from Bray-Doyle?

Turner: I’ll miss the community the most.

B-D: What class have you enjoyed the most and why?

Turner: I have enjoyed Mr. Holman’s classes because he was a good teacher.

B-D: Who is your favorite teacher/faculty member and why?

Turner: My favorites are Mr. Tillson and Mr. Vines because they have helped me a lot. 

B-D: What three words best describe you?

Turner: I would say three words that best describe me are intelligent, kind and hard working.

B-D: How would you like to be remembered as you leave Bray-Doyle?

Turner: I would like to be remembered as a good example for the younger students and a powerhouse on the field.

B-D: What are some words of wisdom you would give to the under-classmen?

Turner: Always try your hardest and have fun while you do it.
