Third-grade finishes Native American dioramas
December 6, 2018
Mrs. Tiffany Barnes and Mrs. Kayce Booth’s third grade classes worked on Native American diorama for a Social Studies lesson before Thanksgiving break.
“This was to give the students a great way to help them understand the lesson,” Booth said. “Each of the kids did a great job and it was really neat to see their different interpretations on their projects.”
Third grade student Matthew Pierce said he really enjoyed working on the project and that there were different pieces that were difficult and easy to do.
“The hardest part was gluing the horses on to the fake grass,” Pierce said. “Putting the river with blue rocks was really easy.”
Junior Alvarez echoed his classmates thoughts saying he liked doing the project.
“The hardest part was making the fence,” Alvarez said. “Putting in the pumpkin was the easiest.”
Daniel Wyatt said he really wants to do the project again in the future.
“This was a lot of fun,” Wyatt said. “I liked making the water, but putting on the grass was really hard.”
