This year was a good year for the Bray-Doyle Student Council, as they had a good showing with interest for class officers.

“We had ten running in the Junior class and five running in the Senior class,” said Stuco sponsor Beth Hough. “They were our two biggest turnouts this year and should show some good leadership.”

Any member of each class could run for class office. Some who ran for office had been officers before, or been a big part in their class.

Bray-Doyle Freshman, Morgan Klima, decided to run for office after helping so much with her class last year.

“Last year I took on the role of secretary because we had an opening to fill,” Klima said. “We had a student move and I filled in helping where I was needed. This year I want to do the same and help my class any way I can.”

The officers in each class will be helping raise money and making their classes better.

Junior class reporter, Brittney Raines, said she’s looking forward to fundraising this year.

“We have prom this year and that’s important,” Raines said. “We have ideas already for how we need to raise money.”
