Bray-Doyle Elementary recognized two students as Character Kids for the week of May 5 for their strong display of citizenship.
First grader William N. was nominated by his cafeteria director, Christina Britt, for consistently volunteering to help in the cafeteria.
“William puts up the cards in the cafeteria every morning before he goes to class,” Britt said. “He does this without being asked and completely volunteers daily.”
Zander Glover was also selected for showing exceptional character. According to , Ms. Terrie Bruce Zander stepped in to help a friend during a difficult moment.
“Zander saw a friend drop their school box and he stopped what he was doing and helped clean up the mess,” Bruce said.
