Seven Bray-Doyle students were recognized for showing good character at the November 11 morning assembly.
Conrad Ortega, Tyler Buchanan, Rhett Archer, Megan Schick, Kennedy Hickman, Jaxson Grajeda, and Roman Torres-Treto were selected as students of good character.
Archer, Buchanan, Hickman, Grajeda, and Torres-Treto were selected by their kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Nichole Bingham.
Bingham selected Buchanan and Archer both for being caring individuals.
“Tyler and Rhett both were caring by helping a student that was hurt,” Bingham said.
Grajeda, Hickman, and Torres-Treto were each selected for being responsible.
“Kennedy has been taking her time and doing her best work,” Bingham said. “Jaxson and Roman have been working hard, and their handwriting is getting so good.”
Bray-Doyle first-grade teacher, Mrs. Kayce Booth, selected Schick for her responsibility.
“Megan has been doing a good job getting her Lexia units done,” Booth said. “She always does her best on all of her work.”
Finally, kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Amy Pass, nominated Ortega for being responsible.
“As the class was getting ready to leave for the day, Conrad made sure all of the papers were picked up and chairs were pushed in without being asked,” Pass said.
