Three Bray-Doyle elementary students shared caring and responsibility, and they were honored as the October 28 character kids.
Their teachers chose Weston Langham, Maverick Bearce, and Wesley Buchanan for character kids.
Langham was recognized by his teacher, Mrs. Robyn Wilson, for caring.
“Weston is always being thoughtful of others,” Wilson said. “He helps them by picking important items up off the floor for them, so they are not swept up and thrown away.”
Buchanan was selected by his teacher, Mrs. Amy Pass for showing responsibility.
“Wesley was very generous in walking around the room during a cutting activity,” Pass said. “He picked up every small piece of paper everyone had cut, and I appreciate his help.”
Bearce was nominated for caring by his teacher, Mrs. Tanda Bingham.
“Maverick helps his friends by pushing in their chairs when they struggle with getting them pushed in,” Bingham said. “He also shares his toys at centers when others want to play with them.”
