Bray-Doyle Elementary student Chandler Whatley was recognized as the Character Kid for September 30.

Whatley was honored by her teacher, Mrs. Tanda Bingham, for her outstanding character in fairness and caring.

“Chandler welcomed a new student to our school by inviting her to be her friend and making her feel comfortable in our classroom,” Bingham said. “Chandler also shares her swing on the playground with those who haven’t had a turn.”
