Morgan Pass, Staff Writer
Morgan Pass is a senior at Bray-Doyle High School. She has been at Bray her whole life and was even taught by her mother, Amy Pass, in Pre-K. Including Pre-First, Pass has been at Bray-Doyle for an outstanding 15 years. Since she has been at Bray for quite some time, she has seen many friends come and go.
“I still remember all of my friends from my younger years leading up to now and still share some of those bonds,” Pass said. “I am grateful for all the memories, experiences, and lessons gained from those friendships.”
Pass is the fast-pitch pitcher for the Lady Donkeys softball team. She strives to be her best defensively and offensively. She has worked hard since her freshman year to get to the point she is now at. Through injuries, multiple different coaches, and other hardships, Pass has always kept a positive attitude and tried to be a leader for the underclassmen.
“It hasn't been easy, but you learn to make the best of any situation if you love it,” said Pass.
Not only has Pass achieved many athletic goals, but she has also excelled academically. Currently, she is ranked second in her class, behind two students tied for first. She hopes to do well in her two concurrent classes this year and be satisfied by graduation.
“I have worked hard in school,” Pass said. “I’m proud of what I’ve been able to accomplish.”
Reagan Davidson is a senior at Bray-Doyle High School and said she loves many things. The most important things that she loves are Jesus and spending time with her friends and family.
Before coming to Bray-Doyle, Davidson attended Empire Public Schools from second grade until her freshman year. While at Empire, Davidson was a cheerleader and returned to cheerleading when she joined the cheer squad this year.
“I love cheerleading because of how fun it is,” Davidson said. “Stunting is my favorite thing to do in cheer.”
Davidson said there are many different reasons she joined cheerleading, but two big reasons were the cheer coach, Mrs. Bayli Lucas, and her friends.
One friend who was particularly supportive of Davidson's joining the cheer squad was her best friend, Morgan Pass, who also joined this year.
“Morgan is the best, and I love her,” Davidson said. “She is just like me, but in a different font.”
Along with cheer, Davidson said she enjoys her classes this year.
“Yearbook and fashion design are my two favorite classes this year,” Davidson said. “I love yearbook because I love taking pictures, and my fashion class has all my friends in it, making it fun.”
